And when I say routine, I mean I have stuck with the same products & same steps ever since I can remember wearing makeup, so this is a big deal for me! Working in the beauty industry has it’s perks. I am oftentimes allotted samples and even some full size products to experiment and find what I like. Through multiple samples and suggestions, here is how I am changing up my beauty routine for fall and winter temps.
For cake-free coverage….
Bobbi Brown’s Skin Foundation does it all. I apply 2-3 pumps (1 at a time of course!) to my forehead first and work my way down my face with a beauty blender. This switch up to a lighter liquid foundation over my typical powder has rejuvenated moisture to my face and given me an effortless dewey look.
For effortless lashes….
Benefit’s They’re Real Mascara has become a go-to. Since this fall’s trend has a lot to do with no makeup makeup, this mascara fits right in. The delicate brush applies a thin layer of mascara that gives you a boost without the drama. The wand is also perfect for achieving the trendy “spider” lashes too!
For hardcore dry face…
You cannot go wrong with Chanel’s Solution 10. Trust me when I say I have some of the most sensitive skin on the planet. Solution 10 gives me the hydration needed to fend off chapped cheeks after cool evening runs.
For bold, knock ’em dead lashes….
Resort to Lance’s Grandiose Extreme mascara. I raved about the new launch here. Save this dramatic eye for weekends.
For wind kissed lips…
Chanel’s Rouge Coco lipstick is second to none. With windy mornings and cooler temperatures my lips take the brunt of the weathering and I find myself chapped often. Investing in a good lipstick is a game changer and not only hydrates but gives you the next step finishing touch to your daily beauty routine.
For all-winter blemish-free skin…
Invest in a beauty staple like La Mer’s Moisturizing Gel Cream. I tried one of their mini samples (which lasted me 2 weeks!) and was immediately hooked. After just two weeks I felt like I had born again skin when it came to blemishes and that natural healthy glow. Though I have avoided the steep prices thus far, I have a feeling La Mer will be taking a dip in my bank account soon. I just keep telling myself I’ll regret it 10 years from now if I don’t 🙂
